StayVisible ("we," "our," or "us") operates the StayVisible platform, which enables AI assistants to search vacation rental properties, check availability, retrieve pricing, and generate booking links on behalf of users. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

Information We Collect

When you use StayVisible through an AI assistant (such as Claude or ChatGPT), we may receive the following types of information:

• Search queries: The search parameters you provide, such as destination, dates, number of guests, and amenity preferences.
• Property inquiries: Which properties you request availability or pricing for.
• OAuth tokens: When you authenticate with StayVisible through an AI platform, we issue a session token. We do not collect your name, email address, or any personal identifying information as part of this flow.
• Usage logs: Server logs including timestamps, IP addresses, and API request details for security and performance monitoring.

We do not collect payment information. All bookings are completed directly on the property host's website.

How We Use Information

We use the information we receive solely to:

• Search available vacation rental properties matching your criteria
• Check live availability from property management systems
• Retrieve real-time pricing and fee breakdowns
• Generate direct booking links pre-filled with your requested dates and guest count
• Monitor server health, diagnose errors, and improve the platform

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services

StayVisible connects to third-party property management systems (such as Lodgify) to retrieve live availability and pricing data. These services have their own privacy policies. When you follow a booking link to a host's website, that website's privacy policy applies to any information you provide there.

StayVisible is accessed through AI platforms including Anthropic's Claude and OpenAI's ChatGPT. Your interactions with those platforms are governed by their respective privacy policies.

Data Retention

Search queries and property inquiries are processed in real time and are not stored beyond the duration of your session. Server logs are retained for up to 30 days for security and debugging purposes, then deleted.

OAuth session tokens expire after 24 hours and are not retained after expiry.

Security

All communication with StayVisible is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. We do not store sensitive personal or financial information. Access to our systems is restricted to authorized personnel only.

Your Rights

Because we do not collect personally identifying information as part of normal use, there is typically no personal data to access, correct, or delete. If you believe we hold information about you and wish to inquire, please contact us at privacy@stayvisible.io.

Children's Privacy

StayVisible is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page with a revised date. Continued use of StayVisible after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
