Is the price I'm quoted the actual price?+
Yes. StayVisible pulls live rates, fees, and taxes directly from the host's booking system at the moment you ask, not a cached estimate from days ago.
Where does my payment go when I book?+
Directly to the host's own booking page. StayVisible never collects payment information and never touches your card details. The link it gives you goes straight to the property owner's site.
Why would I book this way instead of Airbnb or VRBO?+
Booking direct often means a lower price, since the host isn't paying a 20 to 30 percent commission they'd otherwise need to build into the rate. You're also speaking directly with the actual property manager, not a marketplace.
What do I need to get started?+
An active property on a supported property management system. Lodgify is supported today, with more systems coming. We handle the technical setup against your existing account.
Do I need a developer or technical team?+
No. StayVisible is built specifically for owners running one or two properties without an in-house technology team. We set up the connection to your PMS for you.
How is this priced?+
A flat monthly fee per property, $29 if you already have a direct booking site, $49 if you need one built. No commission is taken on any booking. See the For Hosts page for full details.
Will this replace my listing on Airbnb or VRBO?+
No, it runs alongside those listings. StayVisible opens an additional channel, direct discovery through AI assistants, without requiring you to remove anything else.
What data does StayVisible see about my property?+
Only what's needed to answer a guest's question: property details, live availability, and pricing. We never see your financial reports, guest payment data, or anything beyond what's required to search, quote, and link to a booking.
What protocol does StayVisible use?+
The Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard for connecting AI assistants to external tools and data. StayVisible runs as an MCP server exposing four tools: search_properties, check_availability, get_quote, and get_property_url.
How is authentication handled?+
OAuth 2.0 with dynamic client registration, served over the Streamable HTTP transport. Discovery metadata is published at /.well-known/oauth-authorization-server.
What happens to guest data passed through the conversation?+
Search parameters are processed in real time to return availability and pricing, and are not retained beyond the session. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
Does StayVisible ever take an action without explicit confirmation?+
No. Every tool StayVisible exposes is read-only: searching, checking availability, retrieving a quote, or generating a URL. Nothing books, charges, or modifies anything on the host's behalf. The guest completes any reservation directly on the host's own site.
Which property management systems does the integration pull from?+
Lodgify today, with additional systems planned. Data is fetched live at request time directly from the PMS's own API, not from a StayVisible-maintained copy.
